What is BAHIP? Launched in 2017, BAHIP is a one-year, paid internship program designed to recruit and train students of color at Bay Area colleges and universities to become housing development professionals. By removing common barriers to opportunity, the internship aims to provide a launching pad for college students from low-income communities and communities of color into a career in affordable housing development and project management. Who Should Apply? We strongly encourage applications from students entering their last year of college in fall 2022 who have an interest in urban studies and/or community development. Students who are bi-cultural and/or bilingual/biliterate are also encouraged to apply. |
|
Why BAHIP? BAHIP is part of a larger strategy NPH is pursuing to address issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our industry. Learn more about NPH’s racial equity work in this handy one-pager. |

Thank you for doing your part in making BAHIP a success, whether you apply yourself or share with your networks! |
